Lara Logan

 Lara Logan (born 29/03/71) is a South African television, radio and war correspondent. She was a CBS News correspondent from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager described her factually incorrect, politically biased piece on 2012 Benghazi as "the most costly mistake I've made in the past 10 years." In 2019 she joined Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media company. The company was acquired by Fox Nation, a subscription streaming platform owned by Fox News, in January 2020. She claimed she was "dumpedby the company in March 2022. Logan was an editor for the Sunday Tribune in Durban during her studies (1988-1989) and later in the city's Daily News (1990-1992). She was hired by Reuters Television Africa in 1992 as an executive producer. After four years she decided to branch out into freelance journalism and was appointed as a reporter, editor/producer and editor/producer at Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY and CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN employed her to report about such events as the 1998 United States Embassy bombings in Nairobi, Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland.
