Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born on March 4, 1954. O'Hara has won a number of distinctions, including an award called a Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. In the year 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. Then, in 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara first became known as an actress while she was a member the The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. She was a part of the principal cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd began work in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara received praise for her comic acting and writing skills which earned her the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for a Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were included on the Second City artistic board in 2022.
