Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political adviser who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. A member of the Democratic Party she has previously been a part of the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009–2011) as well as the spokesperson of the US Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a CNN political contributor from 2017 and 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 as an official political contributor for CNN. She worked on campaign for re-election of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was then named deputy press secretary to John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was the communications director to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as press secretary for Obama's reelection campaign for 2012. 20 years ago, Psaki was named spokesperson for United States Department of State in February 2013.
